    I love this!
I have learn to speak Chinese tapes that I’ve been working with, but It’s been rather boring. I found this website, and I love it! I love that its the teacher and the student, it makes me feel so much more confident that i can learn it too. If Kevin can do it, then I can do it. Yao makes it so easy. It makes me feel like I can do it too.
    I love this.

    Hello, Yao!
I have been listening to your podcast since I got my ipod for Christmas. my favorite time to listen and concentrate is when I go to bed. My husband falls right to sleep, but I am up all night letting my mind wander. Now I have something to focus on and he can sleep. I just found your website transcripts today and it is surprising to see the words after only hearing and pronouncing them. (I have practiced lessons 1-6 so far) I plan a trip to Beijing sometime in 2008, I have friends there who teach English. Thank you for your clear and fun podcast! it is my favorite use of my ipod!

I live in Flushing NY which is the 2nd China Town. I love the culture and enjoy the local services (herb stores, fresh and exotic fruits and vegetables, chinese massage, Buddist Temples etc.). I have wanted to learn the language.. oh, but where to begin!
I have purchased tapes, sought-out classes and recently met someone from China who is trying to tutor me.
Finding this site and Yao\’s podcast\’s which I have downloaded on to my MP3 has been a treasure chest!!! I am encouraged that I will be able to learn the language at least conversational and communicate with my neighbors and friends.
    Thank You.
