Hi Yao
I've just discovered your podcast and I think it is brilliant. I've tried to learn Mandarin before but yours is the first one that really works for me.

I have lots of Chinese friends to practise with.

I love the podcast format, the pace, your clarity and the fact that your student's name is Kevin.

Kevin from Australia

Laoshi,

I just read your late August comment above--it is so good to know that you'll be continuing your podcasts!

I also bought your book and have just ordered the new audio CD. Podcast/book/CD--three ways to study!

Thanks again for the quality presentations.

I am an "older" student (60) and became interested in learning some Mandarin after chatting with Chinese people on Skype. I even managed to visit a dear friend in Taiwan last January. I must be the worst language student ever! I have never managed to grasp even the basics of any European language but your lessons are superb. I find it particularly useful when you pick up poor Kevin for his occasional sloppy pronunciation. It's just what I need as I am not a good mimic and the repartition of difficult words is very useful. It is also essential for me to read the pinyin during the podcast. Having an extra visual clue helps me remember vocabulary. Could I suggest that occasionally you provide a vocabulary list (pdf) to cover say ten lessons? They could be printed off and used for revision and memorisation.
Thanks for your great podcasts......Please continue with them!!
Best wishes. Tony

Dear learnchinesepod subscribers,

I have been receiving e-mails asking me for more podcasts, and wondering if we are stopping this project. The answer is no. I am now away for summer vacation and after my return, we will resume learnchinesepod.

In the mean time, feel free to post your comments, suggestions and love on this website!

Best,
